Firstly, within 50 meters of the installation of the insulated joint, there is no need to weld the dead port,especially after the insulating flange is connected with the pipeline, it is not allowed to lift the pipeline within 5 meters of the joint, otherwise the connection stability may be affected.

Secondly, when installing the insulated joint, whether it is the joint itself or the pipeline instrument, pressure test should be carried out to ensure that it meets the requirements; at the same time, when the insulated joint is connected with the pipeline, it should be filled and preserved as required, and also in the process. Control the surface temperature of the insulated joint to avoid making it higher than 120 °C.

Monolothic Insulated Joints

In general, the insulated joint can be installed either on the underground straight pipe section or on the ground. However, when installing on the ground, install it on a straight pipe section 20 meters away from the elbow and set the bracket. If use a buried installation of insulated joints, should also avoid the annual water accumulation.

During the installation process, the central wheelbase of the insulated joint is required to be kept in line with the central wheelbase of the pipe, and the two central wheelbases must not be greater than 0.2 mm during installation, which will enable the effectiveness of the insulated joint to be fully utilized.
