Haihao Group successfully signed an order from a Brazilian customer to produce customized API 5L GR.B ERW steel pipes, marking the recognition of our technical strength and production capabilities in the field of pipeline systems.
This batch of orders includes three specifications of steel pipes: API 5L GR.B 14″ ERW pipes SCH6.35mm 11.8M, API 5L GR.B 14″ ERW pipes SCH9.5mm 11.8M and API 5L GR.B 16″ ERW pipes SCH9 .5mm 11.8M. Total weight is 100 tons.
API 5L GR.B ERW pipes
API 5L ERW steel pipe is an electric resistance welding (ERW) steel pipe that complies with the American Petroleum Institute (API) standard API 5L specification. This type of steel pipe is commonly used to transport liquids and gases such as oil and natural gas. The API 5L standard stipulates the requirements for the size, chemical composition, mechanical properties and manufacturing process of steel pipes to ensure the safety and reliability of the pipes during use. The ERW manufacturing process is a process in which steel sheets are rolled into a tubular shape and then resistive heating and pressure are used to weld the edges of the steel sheets to form the tubes. API 5L ERW steel pipe has the advantages of low production cost, high production efficiency and simple manufacturing process, and is widely used in the oil and gas industry.
In order to meet the needs of our customers, we not only customized the production of steel pipes as required, but also provided services such as black painting on the surface of the steel pipe, dimensional inspection, coating thickness inspection, and piping caps at both ends.
