The order includes seamless pipes with the following specifications:
Sizes: Ranging from DN15 to DN900
Materials: ASTM A333 and ASTM A671
End Connections: Bevelled Ends and Plain Ends
Design Temperature: -52°C
Packaging Requirements
Our Russian client has detailed packaging requirements to ensure the integrity and protection of the pipes during transit and storage. The specific packaging instructions are as follows:
Pipe Ends Protection:
Pipes with diameters of 4 inches (100 mm – DN 100) and above must have their ends capped with plastic plugs and sealed with waterproof tape to a depth of at least 80 mm.
Pipes with diameters exceeding 38 inches (900 mm – DN 900) must have their bevelled ends protected with waterproof tape.
ASME B36.10 seamless pipes
Packaging by Size:
Pipes with diameters less than or equal to 3 inches (80 mm – DN 80) must be boxed.
Pipes with diameters greater than 3 inches (80 mm – DN 80) and less than or equal to 10 inches (250 mm – DN 250) must be bundled together.
Pipes with diameters greater than 10 inches (250 mm – DN 250) should be shipped individually as loose pipes.
Protection of Coated or Smoked Pipes:
Bundled pipes with external coatings or smoke treatments should be protected by wrapping with plant fiber or synthetic fiber ropes.
